How did I get into music: I have to blame that one on my kindergarten teacher. I started and never stopped! I have done many things from school choruses to school plays that involved music. I was in the high school band and play drums mostly but also took piano and the guitar. In high school I starred as the lead in both of my Junior and Senior plays which were “You Can’t Take It With You” and “The Princess and the Pea.” After high school I went on to do community theater for several years as well as took modern dance and break dancing ( Hey it used to be cool!) I competed in several talent shows including a couple times at the NY State Fair. I then later (years) on taught at a dance studio myself where I taught breakdancing to kids 8 to 12 years old. (See old things do come back in style) From 1995 to 2002 I was a member of an Impersonation group called “The Village Guys.” We impersonated The Village People every year at the Worlds Largest Disco (www.worldslargestdisco.com) in Buffalo, NY. It was for charity for Camp Good Days and Special Times. I played the Biker Guy!
I have sung at several Rochester Amerks games as the opener and been in several community choruses here in Rochester. I saw Innerloop at a festival during the summer and auditioned for them and here I am working with a bunch of awesome, talented guys!
Hobbies: Collecting sports cards, inkwells, antiques, post cards, coins. Music of course, playing guitar, my job, and not acting my age whenever at all possible.
A Few Random Thoughts: They say that music soothes the savage beast. This I say is true. If I can make one person smile, just one person clap, or just one person to forget their lives for just a brief moment, then I have successfully done what I have come here to do…Entertain!
